Jamie studied Costume Design at Emerson College. While earning her B.F.A. she worked in Emerson’s costume shop, filling the roles of dye-master, milliner, corset maker and cutter/fitter. She honed her period design skills as the designer on productions of Holiday and Infinity’s House at the Cutler Majestic Theatre.

After graduation she designed the spring season for the Stoneham Theatre in Massachusetts. Jamie worked in high-end textiles/custom interiors at the legendary Zimman’s in Lynn and as a design assistant in private label fashion. She started a small clothing line, focused on hand-printed fabrics and vintage cuts, designed and produced in her studios in the old textile mills of New Bedford and Providence.

After moving to Los Angeles, Jamie re-established herself in costuming, working on commercials, music videos, short films and editorials. She is a dual card holder of both the Costume Designers Guild Local 892 and Motion Picture Costumers Local 705.

When not working, she is probably surfing or petting cats.
